Many of the Windrush generation spent decades working in the U.K. planning to return to the Caribbean, they worked hard, saved their monies, bought land, and built houses with the intention of making them into homes.
Many were lucky to return to the Caribbean, some lived as returning residents, all had good intentions of leaving a legacy for their children and grandchildren. Sadly so many of these beautiful properties sit either half built or empty. The good intentions no more than a faded memory.
I have inherited this beautiful, loved home. ... and know that people on holiday in Jamaica, soaking up the beautiful weather, and wanting to enjoy authentic Jamaican life are the people to turn to. To keep the house maintained I use Air B&B so you can book a room anytime.
Bring your friends, bring your family. We have a beach minutes walk away and Lucea is the half way mark between Negril and Montego Bay so you can choose between the peace of the local area [which has it's own life and history] or the bustle of the tourist areas.
There's a studio apartment at the back of the house which sleeps 3 with kitchenette, bathroom and private entrance. The house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms one is en suite. Each room can be booked separately.
